Inspiration: May

All the floral. All the sunshine. YES PLEASE. We have officially excited winter hibernation and I feeling it. May is one of the best months of the year because everything is coming alive! The restaurant patios are full, the flowers are blooming, and the weather is the happiest mixture of warm and breezy.

Although 90% of my wardrobe is black, this week I dug out my neon lime-yellow wallet and almost bought a red polka dot dress at Marshalls - who am I?! Honestly, I just want to teleport to a beach in Mexico for an afternoon of reading under a palm tree.

Here are a few things I’m very inspired by that come with during the sunshine-flirtatious month of May.

  • Flowers. Hand drawn, simple, round, colorful.

  • Mid-afternoon sunshine. Happy and taunting to join it on the porch.

  • Lime and red. Trying to avoid Christmas colors? Try playing with the hues. There are so many tints and shades of each that look marvelous together

  • Mexico. Beachy-keen and bright.

May the Fourth be with you folks! Yes, I went there because the sunshine is getting to me in the best way.

xx, Hannah
